Spoil Me Lounge ("we", "us", "our") operates the Spoil Me Lounge booking app (the "App") for our beauty salon in Quatre Bornes, Mauritius. What we collect
When you create an account and book with us, we collect:
- Name — for your account and so we know who the appointment is for.
- Email address — to sign you in and contact you about your booking.
- Mobile number (optional) — so the salon can reach you about your appointment.
- Your bookings — the services, date and time, status, and deposit details of your appointments.
- Special requests — any note you choose to add to a booking (for example a preference or an allergy). Please share only what you are comfortable with.
- Venue address — if you request an on-site ("at your venue") booking, the address you type so our team can come to you. This is an address you enter, not your device's location.
- Notification token — a device token from Google Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send you booking reminders. It does not identify you personally.
- Crash diagnostics — if the App crashes, anonymous technical details (device model, operating-system version, App version and the error) are sent via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs.
We do not collect your device's GPS location, your contacts, or photos from your device. Photos shown in "Our Work" are uploaded by the salon, not by users.
Payments
How we use your information
- To provide the booking service: create and manage appointments, confirm deposits, and show your booking history.
- To send you booking-related notifications and reminders (for example "your appointment is tomorrow"). These are push notifications you can turn off at any time in your device settings.
- To manage your account and provide support.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the service on our behalf:
- Supabase — a secure database and authentication service that stores your account and bookings.
- Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging & Crashlytics) — to deliver push notifications and to receive anonymous crash reports.
Your information is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time in the App: open Profile → "Delete my account". This removes your login and personal profile. You may also email us at hello@spoilmelounge.com to request deletion and we will action it.
- Turn off notifications from your device settings whenever you like.
- Access or correct your information by editing your profile in the App or contacting us.
Keeping records
When you delete your account we remove your login and personal profile. Limited records of past appointments may be kept in our salon's own business and accounting records, without your account details, as required for our legitimate bookkeeping.
Children
The App is intended for adults booking salon services and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
